Chemical peels are a non invasive topical treatment to cause shedding of the top layer of the skin. The produce involves cleaning and prepping the skin, corrective treatments, and rebalancing of the skins ph. The treatment typical involves a light tingling sensation but is well tolerated and adjustable based on your skin care response.
- Some people may experience skin shedding and some redness or itching for up to a week. The post procedure kit included in the treatment will help correct and minimize any discomfort while creating the right foundation for your new skin.
- Skin shedding varies depending on skin condition and depth of peel. Results should be judged at the end not based on shedding.
Pre-Procedure-
- Avoid any harsh treatments to the skin such as waxing, electrolysis, aggressive topical chemicals or microdermabrasion
- Avoid excessive sun or tanning beds for at least one week
Post-Procedure-
- It is encouraged to avoid excessive exercise, sun exposure or tanning beds after treatment.
- You are encouraged to avoid washing your face or getting the area wet for at least 12 hours to allow for the products to activate.

Pre-Procedure-
- Appointments should be made 2 weeks prior to any event as mild bruising, swelling and redness can occur.
- Discontinue all aspirin, NSAIDs (ibuprofen/naproxen), fish oil, garlic, ginseng or St. John's wart to minimize bleeding.
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine, cigarettes, refined sugars and carbohydrates as these can increase swelling and bruising.
- You may NOT be pregnant, breast feeding or have any active rash or infection in the area being treated.
Post-Procedure-
- Facial exercises/movements are strongly encouraged for one hour after injection.
- Do NOT manipulate the area for 4 hours following the treatment which includes washing face or wearing a hat.
- Do NOT lay down or engage in any vigorous or strenuous exercise for 4 hours after.
- Tylenol may be used for any discomfort.
- Additional injections may be done at 2 weeks if desired results are not achieved.
